“Only through collaboration, the school can be a space where students feel safe! I had a meeting today (Thursday – no) at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education with the chief prosecutor of DIICOT, Alina Albu, to reaffirm the cooperation between the two institutions we represent. Prevention is one of the main pillars we will focus on, and DIICOT will be a reliable partner in this regard. We also established, together with the chief prosecutor Alina Albu, that there should be mutual information, at the institutional level, when we are aware of crimes committed in the school perimeter – for example cases of drug use”, writes Ligia Deca on Facebook.
She shows that, at the level of the Ministry of Education, there are already measures adopted in this regard, “but new steps are to be taken”.
“At the same time, I also mentioned the reforms included in the package of Education Laws for strengthening safety in educational institutions. I will do everything in my power to ensure that the students will develop in a safe and healthy environment!”, adds the minister.
