The German Minister of Defense, Boris Pistorius, went on Friday to a military training ground in Saxony-Anhalt, where Ukrainian soldiers are trained.
“We stand by and convey with the greatest conviction: we will continue to support Ukraine, with everything possible, as long as it will be necessary,” Pistorius said during the visit to the Lietz military training ground.
Boris Pistorius spoke to Ukrainian soldiers who are receiving training in the use of Leopard 1 A5 tanks. The training mission is carried out by German and Danish military instructors. The German Minister of Defense announced that the Netherlands will soon join the efforts to train the Ukrainian military on German soil.
