“The operation of the Romanian Police in Chiajna has ended. Following the negotiation activity of the Romanian Police, the girl is in police custody, out of any danger,” the Romanian Police reported on Friday.

“As a result of the activities carried out during the operation, neither the girl, nor the man, nor the law enforcement officers were injured. The purpose of the mission was fulfilled”, informs the Police.

IPJ Ilfov was notified by a woman that she was physically assaulted by her husband and kicked out of the house, IGPR informs. The man barricaded himself in the house, together with his 5-year-old daughter.
The girl’s release took place shortly after a lawyer entered the apartment with whom the man agreed to communicate.
After the man released the child, the lawyer, who did not want to be identified, told reporters that she will continue to represent the individual, whom she knows as “a gentle man.” She also said that from the discussions with the little girl, the mother would have been the one who would have started the scandal on Thursday evening. She also said that the little girl will remain, for the time being, in the care of her grandmother and an aunt.
