The Argentinian Lionel Messi apologized on Friday, through a video on Instagram, after traveling to Saudi Arabia without the consent of the Paris Saint-Germain club.
Lionel Messi says, in the video posted on Instagram, that he thought he would have a day off after the match with Lorient and that’s why he went to Saudi Arabia.
“I thought we would have a day off after the game, as usual. I had this trip organized and I couldn’t cancel it. I had already canceled it before…”, says Messi.
The Argentinian apologized for his gesture.
“I apologize to my teammates and I accept what the club wants to do with me,” says the footballer.
The winner of the World Cup, Lionel Messi, went to Saudi Arabia at the beginning of the week to honor a sponsorship contract he has with the Saudi Tourism Office.
