The Bucharest Regional Railway Branch performs, between April and August, railway superstructure works for the installation of 11 new track devices in the Ploiesti Sud station.
The entire technological process is carried out in-house with specialized personnel and aims to reduce the degree of operational safety, lift speed restrictions and increase the speed of traffic on direct lines from 30 km/h to 80 km/h, according to CFR Infrastructura .
The works will consist of dismantling the old track apparatus, restoring the track substrate, assembling the track apparatus, launching the changer into the track, mechanized and profiled broken stone. The aim is to reduce the degree of operational safety, lift speed restrictions and increase the traffic speed on direct lines from 30 km/h to 80 km/h.
