The Head of the Romanian Executive appreciated the good collaboration between the Court of Accounts of Romania and the Audit and Inspection Council of the Republic of Korea, especially in the field of risk analysis in the selection of audit topics and specific IT system tools to support the audit activity.
According to the representatives of the Government, Prime Minister Ciucă also said that the recommendations of the Court of Accounts are included in the formulation of government public policies and emphasized the extensive modernization process that is taking place at the Court of Accounts in Romania.
“In this context, Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă appreciated that the exchange of bilateral relations is welcome and will contribute to the progress and modernization of the relevant Romanian institution. Digitization of audit procedures can increase the efficiency of public money management, offering a quick and comprehensive evaluation of the functioning of the public administrative system. In this sense, the good practices and experience of South Korea can support the developments of digitization in Romania”, announced the representatives of the Government.
Prime Minister Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă also announced that Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo will be his guest this week, on the occasion of the celebration of 15 years of Strategic Partnership.
