The President of the United States, Joseph Biden, will meet, in June, in Washington, with the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, to discuss the advancement of bilateral relations and the intensification of security in the Indo-Pacific area.
“President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will welcome Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will make an official state visit to the United States, which will include a state dinner, on June 22, 2023. The visit will reaffirm the partnership deep and close between the United States and India, as well as the family and friendship ties between Americans and Indians,” announced the US Presidency, according to a statement viewed by the MEDIAFAX agency.
“The visit will intensify the two countries’ joint commitment to a free, open, prosperous and secure Indo-Pacific region, as well as the joint determination to advance the strategic technological partnership, including in the field of defense, clean energy and space. The leaders will discuss ways of further expansion of educational exchanges and relations between peoples, also highlighting collaboration to counter common challenges, starting with climate change, workforce development and medical security”, emphasizes the White House.
