“The modernization of the heating system in the Capital is advancing. The pressure test was successfully carried out on a 500-meter section of the new heating pipe on Calea Dorobantilor, which is to be put into operation as soon as possible”, said the mayor of the Capital, on his Facebook page.
According to Dan, this is in addition to the 1,500 meters of pre-insulated pipe, equipped with damage detection sensors, changed by Compania Municipală Energetica Servicii in the last two months, in an area where the heating pipes have not been replaced for over 30 years year old.
The general mayor promises that starting next winter, the residents of the blocks and institutions in the Calea Dorobantilor area will not be affected by the lack of hot water and heat.
“The investment is part of Objective 4 Magistrala II-III Grozăvesti, with a total length of 11 km. During the development of the modernization of the heating network, the Municipal Company Energetica Servicii installs temporary pipes, so that the supply of hot water is not affected”, said Nicusor Dan.
