“From the information we have gathered up to this moment, it is about one of the institutions subordinate to the mayor’s office. The searches were carried out there today (Thursday – no) and the descent. From my point of view and from our point of view, we have zero tolerance for corruption. We support justice in any effort to find out the truth and to mask and penalize corruption”, says Allen Coliban.
He says that there is no more information at this time, given that it is a criminal investigation and many details are confidential during the investigation.
On Thursday, DNA prosecutors carried out 16 searches in the city of Bucharest and in the counties of Brasov, Ilfov and Argeş, in a case concerning suspicions of corruption in the awarding of public procurement contracts. A public institution was also targeted.
