Oţelul Galati was defeated on Thursday evening, on its own ground, by Dinamo Bucharest, with a score of 0-2 (0-2). The Galatians, with coach Dorinel Munteanu suspended for the accumulation of yellow cards, needed a draw to obtain direct promotion in League 1.
The Dinamo players had a very good first half hour of play, in which they scored twice. Larrucea opened the scoring with a shot placed near the bar in the 5th minute.
Ahmed Bani then scored the 0-2 goal, in the 28th minute, with a shot on the short corner, from the box, after Ghezali dribbled easily and passed him decisively.
The hosts had chances to get back into the game, but they failed to beat Dujmovic.
Cîrjan could make it 0-3, at the end of the match, but he shot outside the goal, from an ideal position.
Dinamo is thus only 3 points closer to Oţelul Galati, with two stages before the end of the play-off and has a real chance of obtaining direct promotion in League 1, just like Dinamo.
