The police from Oneşti reported themselves after, on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, unknown persons stole several sections of cable from a sewer located on boulevard Republicii, in the locality, which they stored in the trunk of a car cars.
The law enforcement officers determined that unknown persons entered the sewer mouth where they cut the communication cable, which they later stored in a car with a false registration number.
The value of the damage is over 100,000 lei.
Following the administered evidence, the police identified four young men, aged between 18 and 30, three of them from the Ştefan cel Mare commune, and one from Oneşti, suspected of committing the act. Half of the damage was recovered.
Three of the young men were ordered to be detained for a period of 24 hours, being investigated for committing the crime of aggravated theft, and the fourth was detained, being suspected of committing the crimes of aggravated theft and driving a vehicle with a false license plate registration.
The persons in question were presented to the court, which ordered the measure of house arrest for a period of 30 days.
