“In the Permanent Office of the Senate, in just four minutes, the PSD and the PNL determined that on Sunday, May 14, in three days, all amendments from the parties should be sent and that, by Monday, the advisory commissions must complete their mission , although they usually meet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. There is no such thing! With all the rotation and the PSD-PNL negotiations! They want to cram everything – debates, reports, vote – in just a few days, so as not to get confused when dividing the hammer to the great rotating one”, said USR senator Ştefan Pălărie.
In the address registered on Thursday at the Permanent Bureau, USR proposed that the deadline for the adoption of the opinions be May 24, 2023 and the deadline for the adoption of the report June 15, 2023.
“The parliamentarians of the coalition decided the fate of education in just four minutes. It is yet another clear proof of the price that the governors place on education. Although we need reform like air, we are missing a rare opportunity to significantly improve what and how Romanian students learn”, says Silvia Dinică, USR senator.
