The director of the National Road Infrastructure Administration Company (CNAIR), Cristian Pistol, said on Friday evening that the procedures for signing the contract for the design and execution of Lot 1 of the A0 North Highway can be moved on, after the appeal was rejected.

Pistol wrote on Facebook that on Friday, the appeal filed by Intrakat for the construction of the last lot of the A0 (Autostrada de Centură Bucharest) was rejected by the CNSC.
“From this moment we can start the procedures for signing the contract for the design and execution of lot 1 of A0 Nord. We will ask the Italian company Pizzarotti to bring as soon as possible all the documents necessary to sign the contract”, says the director of CNAIR.
The construction of Lot 1 of the A0 Nord with a length of 17.5 km and a value of 815.07 million euros (without VAT), is financed by the Transport Program (PT).
The builder will have 12 months for the design and 22 months for the execution of the works.
