The police from IPJ Gorj intervened on Tuesday after a taxi driver from Târgu Jiu informed them that a customer got into the car with a gun.
A 37-year-old man boarded a taxi in Târgu Jiu with an airsoft gun
The police of Târgu Jiu Municipality was notified on Tuesday by a taxi driver about the fact that a customer who has a gun on him.
The man was immobilized by the police and taken to the police headquarters.
Following the checks, the police determined that it was a 37-year-old man from the municipality of Timişoara, who possessed an airsoft pistol that was not subject to authorization.
The weapon was lifted by the police, in order to continue the checks.
The man was fined 5,000 lei, according to Law 295 of 2004 on the arms and ammunition regime.
