In connection with the public gatherings in the area of the Palace of the Parliament, from 10.05.2023, the General Directorate of Gendarmes of the Municipality of Bucharest announces that, in addition to the previous fines, it has issued 30 sanctions totaling 38,000 lei.
117 fines totaling 118,500 lei were issued.
In the case of the assault of Ludovic Orban, 4 offenders were identified and 4 fines were issued in the total amount of 3,000 lei, for acts of violation of some rules of social coexistence, public order and tranquility.
“In the case of the second parliamentarian, 4 violators were identified, for whom 6 contraventional sanctions were applied, in the total amount of 19,500 lei, in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 61 of 1991 for the sanctioning of acts of violation of norms of social coexistence, of public order and tranquility, with subsequent amendments and additions and of Law no. 60 of 1991 regarding the organization and conduct of public gatherings, with subsequent amendments and additions”, informs the Gendarmerie.
Former Prime Minister Ludovic Orban said that he was attacked and spat on by AUR demonstrators when he was walking towards the entrance to the Parliament.
