UTA Arad – FC U Craiova 1-1 (0-0)
FC Arges – Petrolul Ploiesti 3-0 (1-0)
Chindia Targoviste – FC Voluntari 2-2 (0-2)
Before these matches, Mioveni was already relegated to the second league, for several stages. The second place leading directly to the second league was disputed between FC Argeş and Chindia Târgovişte, the two teams fighting from a distance to avoid direct relegation.
The team from Mioveni received the visit of FC Voluntari on their own ground, at a moment when the renovated stadium in the city was inaugurated. This match also represented the last duel of the local team in the first league, before relegation.
The team from Ilfov led 2-0 in the match in Târgovişte, but the hosts managed to come back and draw 2-2, a result that was not enough to avoid relegation.
FC Argeş managed to save itself in the last stage, being one point above the direct relegation line. The Pitesti team won at home, 3-0, against the Petrolul Ploieşti team, and will now go to the draw, trying to stay in the first league.
UTA Arad led in the match against FC U Craiova with 1-0, but the Olten team came back and equalized, thus winning the play-out against the FC Voluntari team.
After these results, the picture of the retention/promotion barrage is even more clearly defined. Thus, UTA Arad and FC Argeş will be the teams that will fight to keep their place in the Super League, their opponents to be decided on Sunday, after the last stage of League 2.
