FC Botoşani won on Saturday, at home, with a score of 5-1. At halftime the score was 2-1 for the Moldovans, the goals being scored by Sebastian Mailat and Victor Dican in the 9th and 40th minutes for FC Botoşani. The guests scored in the 45th minute through Gutea.
The last three goals were scored at the end of the match. Mihai Alexandru Roman scored for 3-1 in the 83rd minute, Sebastian Mailat increased the difference in the 88th minute, and Eduard Florescu established the final score in the 92nd minute.
Following this result, FC Botoşani finished in 5th place in the play out group. CS Mioveni placed last and was relegated to the II League.
