It is a situation that puts us all at a disadvantage, claims Miruna Croitoru, referring to the strike launched by the unions in pre-university education.
“We would like this whole situation to end as soon as possible, even end this week, so that next week we can return to classes normally. This situation is not beneficial for anyone. CNE has always supported all the demands that the unions come up with because when we talk about an appropriate salary we are also talking about an increase in quality”, said Miruna Croitoru at the end of the meeting held on Tuesday at the Government.
She claims that students are losing confidence in the system.
“At the moment when the unions announced that they no longer trust the system and that they have lost their trust, we ask ourselves how the students can still trust the system. (…) In addition to coming to school and not doing classes or not coming to school at all or doing it in a hybrid format, the strike affects the students in Romania because they are also losing more and more confidence in the system”, he added the CNE president.
