“The government must answer to the parents and students for what is to come,” said a trade union leader on Thursday, at the protest of education trade unionists in Piaţa Victoriei.
The unionists say that the Government’s offer was rejected and that it is considered “offensive” by the teachers.
“The colleagues very firmly conveyed that as long as there is no fair and decent solution, they will not give up this form of protest. At the moment, based on the current proposals from the executive, the strike continues,” said another union leader.
Thousands of trade unionists from education are protesting in Piaţa Victoriei on Thursday. The trade unionists are on the fourth day of a general strike on Thursday.
