Thanks to the new rear electric motor, the Pro version now has an output of 210 kW. The same goes for the quad and the GTX was no exception.
The ID.4 and ID.5 Volkswagens have been upgraded and pre-orders are now open. Nothing has changed on the outside, but behind the wheel you will definitely benefit from the news. The drive was tuned and the cars received new infotainment and software. Inside, you have a larger display as standard, and finally backlit touch surfaces for air conditioning and audio. The infotainment menu and buttons on the steering wheel were also redesigned.
However, the novelty stands out best when moving to the numbers. The range of the ID.4 Pro version increased by 17 km to the current 550 km. For the ID.5 Pro, it is now 556 km. The rear-wheel drive versions have a maximum charging power of 135 kW, however the all-wheel drive versions have had their power increased from 135 to 175 kW. With this performance, 178 km can be obtained in the car in 10 minutes. Not to mention, the base ID.4 Pure has increased power from 110 to 115 kW.
Another big novelty is the new rear electric motor, which we already know from the Škoda Enyaq. He increased it from 150 kW to 210 kW. Even more amazing is the increase in torque, which has increased from 310 Nm to an amazing 545 Nm. The power of the 4Motion version is also 210 kW, which is not such an increase compared to the original 195 kW.
The changes also apply to the GTX version, which until now had a power of 299 hp. Power has now risen to 250 kW (340 hp), the same as the Toyota Supra. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes place in 5.4 seconds and the maximum speed remains limited to 180 km/h. By the way, the Pro version has a raised maximum speed from 160 km/h to 180 km/h as well.
