If you know at least a little about the history of the Honda brand, then the name Prelude will surely be familiar to you. It was worn by five generations of elegant compact coupes produced between 1978 and 2001.
Now, after more than 20 years, the legendary label is returning. And the gratifying thing is that this time it belongs to a bathtub, not a crossover or an SUV.
Although Honda is currently presenting the new product as a design concept, if you look at the car, it looks as if it could go into production right away. The car has standard wheels, classic side mirrors and a fairly standard design that doesn’t look overly futuristic. This is simply not what a classic design concept looks like. However, the Japanese brand has not explicitly confirmed the production of the new Prelude model.
However, she indicated that the concept is a prelude to future models that will take the joy of driving into an electric future. This means that if the Prelude really does return, it will be as an electric car – which fans of the previous generations of the car probably won’t like too much…

Otherwise, Honda did not reveal much information about the study, we do not know anything about the technology, we do not even know the shape of the interior. Also, notice the dark windows that make it impossible to see into the cabin.
But we believe that the Japanese automaker will soon publish more details – and maybe even confirm that the Prelude coupe will indeed return to the game. Even if only with an electric drive…
