The new feature of the Chrome browser for iOS does not fundamentally change the browser, but it can be very useful. Google has finally heard the pleas of many users and made it possible to move the browser address bar from the top of the screen to the bottomand you can return it to its original location if necessary.

The point is make it easier to reach the address bar with your thumbs, similar to the mobile browsers Safari and Opera, which allow the element to be moved on the screen. Enough long press the URL bar and select an option from the displayed options Move the address bar to the bottom. The same can be done to move it back to the top of the screen. However, you can also access the setting of the new function in the Settings menu.

Unfortunately, Google has yet to say when it plans to bring this feature also on Android. So it will be available for now only on iPhones. At the same time, the company tested the Chrome Home interface, which had a URL bar at the bottom, already in 2019, but then it remained only an experiment.
