After a year, Ken Block goes on one last crazy ride. He recorded the second Electrikhan just before his death.
At the beginning of the year, the tragic news of the death of businessman, athlete and competitor Ken Block circulated around the world. It happened on February 2 after falling from an overhang on a snowmobile. Unfortunately, he was driving alone at the fateful moment and help arrived too late. Daughter Lia continues in her father’s racing footsteps, often with the expert support of co-driver Rhianon Gelsomino, wife of Alex Gelsomino, who rode with Ken. He now drove the American Rally Association Cup Ford Fiesta with Ken’s wife Lucy.

We already know all this, but some of you may not have known that Ken managed to shoot the second part of Electrikhana last year. During the first he hit the streets of Las Vegas, with the second spree he went to Mexico City. The first preview has currently appeared on Hoonigan’s YouTube channel.
Indeed, the final video featuring Ken Block will be partially dedicated to his memory and the legacy he left in motorsport. But don’t worry, there will be no shortage of action shots, tight passes in fast drift and clouds of smoke. According to the first demonstration, a lot of tires burned.

You will also see Block’s Hoonitron Audi S1 in action for the second time with four engines with a power of 671 hp and a torque of 640 Nm. The design is based on the Pikes Peak special and although Ken has drifted with much more powerful cars, the Hoonitron is said to have suited him best because of the instant torque and full engagement without the need to shift gears. The exact date is not yet known, but it is planned for December.
