Rockstar Games has finally officially revealed that the trailer for the next chapter of the Grand Theft Auto series will appear already at the beginning of December. The new game will probably be called GTA VI and is expected to appear in it the first female protagonist series. GTA VI will reportedly take place in a fictional version of Miamias well as 2002’s GTA: Vice City.
For GTA fans, this is a long and eagerly awaited announcement. Grand Theft Auto V has been released ten years agoin 2013, and has since been ported to subsequent generations of hardware (including the PS5 and Xbox X/S series), however a sequel has yet to be released.
It has been known for some time that a new Grand Theft Auto game is in the works. Rockstar first confirmed that it was working on the next Grand Theft Auto in February 2022. It also leaked last year a huge amount of footage from the game, which Rockstar eventually confirmed. A member of the hacking group Lapsus$ is behind the leak of GTA VI images.
Grand Theft Auto V just turned 10 years old and has sold over 185 million copies since its initial release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013.
