The new Škoda Superb has three-zone air conditioning as a basis for massage. The price with a popular engine will not offend anyone

A lot of you have been waiting for this. New Škoda Superb, first prices. Unfortunately, I won’t please you completely and completely, because the first to enter the market is the station wagon body variant with a 110 kW (150 hp) 2.0 TDI engine and a DSG gearbox, we’ll have to wait for the rest until next year. Currently, dealers throughout the Czech Republic are accepting orders and the first cars will be available to customers in the second quarter of next year. Until then, we will certainly be driving the car as part of the first driving impressions.

So a moment of tension… CZK 1,035,000. That’s how much you’ll pay for the aforementioned engine in a station wagon with the Selection trim, which replaces the Style and is the new base. The current version of the same configuration with the Style equipment will cost 1,027,900 CZK, so you will pay an additional 7,100 CZK for the new model. You will be rewarded for this with higher basic equipment, which includes three-zone air conditioning, blind spot monitoring or even massage seats, which the Style had for an extra charge.

The equipment also includes classic style parking sensors at the front and rear, a rear parking camera, cruise control with an intelligent speed limiter, front seats with partially electric adjustment or 17-inch wheels in Mintaka design. But the equipment was also changing, namely navigation and keyless car unlocking. But you’ll still win because the items mentioned above are worth an extra CZK 21,000. If that wasn’t enough for you, you can of course also get the Laurin & Klement gear, which is now available for 1,235,000 CZK. Compared to the previous version, this is an additional charge of CZK 52,100.

You probably already guess that the slightly higher price tag will be compensated by better equipment. Three-zone Climatronic air conditioning, wireless charging with a power of 15W, better ergonomic front seats, head-up display, traffic sign recognition, electrically controlled luggage compartment blind cover or ambient interior lighting with RGB module are now added to the standard. Of course, we do not yet have a complete price list with everything. We will be wiser only with the gradual pricing of other equipment and engines.
