The Countryman received a powerful John Cooper Works version. It’s primarily a style car, but it doesn’t forget about performance.
The new generation Mini John Cooper Works Countryman is the perfect family companion in sporty sneakers. Compared to its predecessor, it has grown in size, but with all-wheel drive, a powerful engine and an overall dynamic tuning, it encourages the driver to enjoy the ride. Mini cares about design and the JCW Countryman is a beautiful example of that. The body abounds with a number of aerodynamic elements and special wheels with diameters of 19 to 20 inches. They wear larger tires than before.
Black paint sets off the roof, rear-view mirrors, bumpers and brake calipers in motorsport-inspired Chili Red. At a closer look, we recognize the new logo of the John Cooper Works model line, which was recently premiered. Thanks to the overall optimization of the shapes, the designers managed to achieve a drag coefficient of 0.26, one of the best in the segment.

You can also tell in the interior that the Countryman has grown. Although at first glance you are more interested in its stylish concept. The red-black combination is reflected with silver decorations in the form of vertical vents and door handles. The dashboard is upholstered in two-tone recycled polyester fabric. The rear bench can be moved longitudinally within a range of 13 cm, and after folding the backrests you create a space with a volume of 1530 liters. The trunk has a base of 460 liters.
The central round OLED screen unites the instrument panel and the multimedia device into one unit. The system has different mood modes in the interior and is connected to a picture projector on the dashboard. Interesting is the go-kart mode, which enhances the sound of the engine in the interior. The voice assistant helps you set up navigation, change the station or call friends or family.

To let them know you’re coming. And quite quickly. The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine provides the JCW Countryman with 221 kW of power and 400 Nm of torque. Thanks to this, you can launch from a standstill to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and then you can continue to 250 km/h. The natural expression of the engine is of course impressive, but even so, the generator helps to complete the scenery, especially when starting. When driving, the driver is assisted by the automated steering system available for the first time, thanks to which you can take your hands off the steering wheel up to 60 km/h.
