The clearance is traditionally great – 22 centimeters.

The interior will look familiar to anyone who has driven a newer Subaru. We have a clear instrument panel with circular analogue indicators, a vertical 11.6-inch infotainment screen (with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) and generous glazing for a feeling of spaciousness. According to American specifications, the trunk can hold 839 liters of cargo, a maximum of 2107 liters with the rear seats folded down.

The car sits on the Subaru Global Platform, which has been additionally reinforced for a 10% increase in torsional stiffness. Of course, there is also the EyeSight system with stereo cameras, which now has a wider viewing angle and takes care of safety and comfortable driving functions. New is the automatic stopping of the car when driving on cruise control, if the driver does not respond to the warning to take back control of the steering – the car brakes, unlocks the doors, turns on the hazard lights and calls for help. Driver fatigue (as well as user profile settings) is again solved by a face tracking camera.

Under the hood is a two-and-a-half-liter gasoline engine with an output of 134 kW, but the car will almost certainly only arrive on the European market with a hybrid drive, the launch of which was confirmed by Subaru CEO Atsushi Osaki for the 2026 model year. , which in the American specification and its higher equipment is supplemented with extra functions for driving in more demanding conditions, and an assistant for starts and descents will help you off the asphalt.
