Sitting behind the wheel of the automotive aristocracy is exceptional even for us journalists, who have driven everywhere. It usually only happens once every few years and only fleetingly – and only to a select few. Such an audience at the four-wheeled queen. I’m not complaining, it’s an incredible experience.

I live in a comfortable cocoon, I enjoy refined luxury and a special atmosphere… And I also enjoy the attention that the car (and a little bit, too) gets. People look down on Rolls-Royce surprisingly without envy, they just admire the beauty of the work of art on wheels. Like a true British aristocrat, he exudes an aura of calmness, confidence and self-confidence that you just have to nod your head at. Partly it makes me happy, partly I’m knocking behind the wheel with fear…

The interior of the Specter is a stunning environment that you will enjoy every time you drive it. You won’t even want to go home…

This car is as big as a bus and can be seen quite poorly from it, which often creates rather dangerous situations with regard to stunned pedestrians falling into the road and shocked motorists turning their heads, who suddenly do not look at the traffic around them. And even if you repeat to yourself “it’s just a car, it’s just a car”, at no point will you get a flashing alarm out of your head that you’re driving a thing with a price tag of over 11 million crowns. ELEVEN MILLION! TAX-FREE!

The Specter is quite a car. And it makes an even bigger impression behind the wheel.

I don’t know what kind of relationship you live in, but I think that’s a lot of money that I probably wouldn’t be able to scrape together even if I sold my body for parts. So the sense of responsibility is huge. Suddenly, all the cars are dangerously close, all the streets narrow by a few numbers, and the curbs grow fangs to feast on those gorgeous 23-inch polished wheels. How much does one of these cost…?

Check out those gorgeous polished 23-inch wheels. How much does one cost? You really don’t want to scratch the curb…

And no matter how much you relax behind the wheel with the kilometers driven, this unpleasant thought keeps gnawing there. But still better a calm and moderate Rolls-Royce than a wild supercar with a multi-headed herd of horses that wants nothing more than to run into the fields – and you still have to push the saw to learn something about the car’s capabilities and give an insider’s report .

In the end, you are the happiest when you return the car after a whole day of stress without any new scratches or other damage. You hand over the keys and a huge stone falls from your heart (and only a beautiful memory remains). So you will understand that when I finally parked next to another test RR Specter (with a fair distance of almost a meter), the door opened automatically electrically for once and stopped about a millimeter from the sheet metal of the car next to it, I almost passed out…
