Amazon has joined the ranks of a number of big tech companies as it has now introduced your own AI image generator. Users can now preview Titan Image Generator on the Bedrock console. The new tool makes it possible either enter a text prompt to create a new image or upload an image and edit it.
Amazon said it can produce the tool high volumes of realistic studio-quality images at low cost. It claims that artificial intelligence can generate relevant images based on complex text commands. This helps reduce the generation of malicious content and mitigate the spread of misinformation, according to the company.
Those who want to edit the image can mark the areas where they want to add or remove various elements. For example, they can replace the background or replace the object in the subject’s hand in the photo. Artificial intelligence can too extend the edges of the image by adding artificial details, similar to the Generative Expand feature in Photoshop.
Amazon claims Titan applies invisible watermark to the images it generates. The company said it will help curb the spread of misinformation by providing a discreet mechanism for identifying AI-generated images and promote the safe and transparent development of AI technology. They claim that watermarks are durable and cannot be deleted or altered. According to the image generator demo, AI can too generate an image description or relevant textwhich can be used in social media posts.
News of the image generator emerged at Amazon’s AWS re:Invent conference, where the company also showed off its latest AI chips and unveiled a business AI chatbot called Q. The company recently began offering advertisers a tool that allows them to add AI-generated backgrounds to product images .
