For a car with all-wheel drive, many people still go to Subaru. The new Crosstrek is exactly what you’d expect, and that’s only good.

The Subaru car company recently presented a new version of the XV model, which in Europe bears the name Crosstrek, in the United States and Canada it has been labeled as such since the first generation. The novelty wants to impress with its redesigned design and new interior layout, but otherwise you can rely on proven Japanese technology, led by a box engine and all-wheel drive. Now we already know the Czech prices.

The car is available on our market in three trims, the first is called Active and will cost 880,000 CZK. The outgoing XV started at a much lower price of CZK 695,000, but with a 1.6-liter engine and 114 horsepower. The Crosstrek already has a 136-horsepower two-liter FB20 with hybrid technology as standard. With it, but with a power of 150 horses, you could also buy an XV, but at a price of at least 855,000 CZK, so the price difference is not that big.

17-inch wheels, rain sensor, heated front seats, keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control with voice control, adaptive cruise control, wireless smartphone connection or roof rails are standard for the Active trim. The higher Comfort equipment for CZK 955,000 adds, for example, 18-inch wheels, electric adjustment of the front seats, high beam assistant or a self-dimming rear-view mirror.

The highest Executive equipment already surpasses a million, it costs 1,020,000 CZK. However, you will already have items such as an electrically operated sunroof, leather seat upholstery or a heated steering wheel as standard. The main attraction of the Crosstrek model will of course be the all-wheel drive, which is supported by X-Mode driving modes. From the Comfort equipment, it also has more setting options, for example for deep snow or mud.
