It often happens that car companies give discounts on models that don’t really stand out in the store. However, this is not the case with the Opel Crossland (which has not used the suffix X after its name for some time now), as it is by far the brand’s most popular model on the Czech market. Nevertheless, the Czech representative office decided to support its success with a significant discount.

The Crossland HIT is driven forward by a 110-horsepower three-cylinder 12-cylinder PureTech engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission. It is not an athlete – it takes 11 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h and has a top speed of 187 km/h – but rather a calmer, which pays off with a consumption of around five liters of fuel during a leisurely ride.

At the same time, the equipment of the discounted piece does not lack in any way. It includes automatic LED headlights, air conditioning, electric control of all windows and mirrors, six airbags, road sign reading, hill start assistant or a seven-inch multimedia system screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.

The latest edition of the Crossland received, following the example of other modern siblings, a nose called the Opel Vizor, i.e. a blinded mask without traditional slats, which connects directly to the main headlights. In addition to the distinctive design, the car boasts great practicality. Although the car is only 4.2 meters long, four adults can comfortably fit in it and we can find a trunk with a volume of 520 liters in the back, which is more than some competitors in a class above! The space can then be increased by folding the rear bench in a 60:40 ratio.

How much for all this? Opel managed to push the base price below the magical threshold of four hundred thousand crowns. You can buy the Crossland HIT for 399,990 CZK, which is an unbeatable offer in the class of such large crossovers. Wouldn’t the motivation to buy a new car be under the tree?
