Instead of the RNF team, which was eliminated from MotoGP after the end of this season, the Trackhouse Racing team will compete next year.
Last week, members of the FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sport decided that the CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP team would not continue with the Royal Cub next year. It is now officially confirmed that Trackhouse Racing will join MotoGP in 2024 instead of the eliminated team, which will thus become Aprilia’s new satellite team. Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernandez, who have been riding with the RNF team until now, will race for him.
The American Trackhouse Racing team, founded and owned by Justin Marks, has already achieved success in the NASCAR Cup Series. The team’s entry into MotoGP was ceremoniously announced in Milan. For the purposes of today’s presentation, a machine featuring the American flag was used, but the final livery of the machines will not be revealed until the beginning of next season.
Justin Marks, founder and owner of Trackhouse Racing stated at the presentation: “Entering the MotoGP World Championship is very emotional for our young company. From day one, Trackhouse has been working to identify unique and attractive opportunities in motorsport and to move into a global series such as MotoGP.
“So this is a huge step in terms of growth for our company. We have deep confidence in Dorna and are committed to bringing something new and exciting to the championship as we work hard to help bring this amazing sport to millions of fans across North America and beyond.” dodal Marks.
