Do you want to get a real working machine with the signature of the legend of action movies? You can, one of these is going up for auction right now.
During his colorful life, Arnold owned many interesting cars – from the newer ones, for example, an Audi R8 with a distinctive Vibrant Red paint (perhaps a memory of Red Heat from 1988 or the hectoliters of blood in most other films), then a Bentley Continental GTC with a W12 engine, a Bentley Arnage in black, or Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz. Of course, we must also mention the Hummer H1, which was converted to electric drive by the Austrian company Kreisel Electric, it also played a role in the conversion of the Mercedes G-class to batteries from the same company.
One of his former cars is now up for sale and it’s quite a show – it’s a Unimog U1300 SE with a 6.4-litre diesel straight six and a manual gearbox. Originally manufactured in 1977, it underwent renovation and rebuilding in 2012 by Merex Mertec specialists in Gaggenau, Germany.
As you can see from the photos, it is in perfect condition, it has a sturdy bumper and frame plus winch at the front, additional Hella lighting, a frame on the bed and proper 22″ wheels with 445/65 tires. The vehicle will be up for auction at the Barrett Jackson auction with only 4,302 kilometers on the clock – you can bid next January in Scottsdale, USA. The car has all the documentation, authenticity is guaranteed by Arnold’s signature on the dashboard.
