The qualities of the new customer racer were checked by the big boss Akio Toyoda himself. His team gets the first piece.

The racing field of Toyota cars will be more varied again. The Gazoo Racing division has already run the WRC with the GR Yaris Rally1 model, the WEC championship with the GR010 hybrid plate and the off-road W2RC with the DKR Hilux EVO T1U special, now they are joined by the GR Yaris Rally2, which has been homologated by the International Automobile Federation since January 1 this year FIA. The first example will go to the ROOKIE Racing team, led by Akio Toyoda himself, while it will be seen by four teams at Monte-Carlo at the end of January.

Although it has only three cylinders, it can beat any supersport. This Toyota GR Yaris has ridiculous power, but the engine is said to last

The GR Yaris became the brand’s first sports four-wheeler after a twenty-year hiatus. Akio Toyoda personally tested the car two years ago at the Japan Rally, since then the automaker has received a number of valuable comments from drivers in different conditions and on different surfaces.
