If you like fast electric cars, Hyundai will soon have something for you.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is one of the few sports-oriented electric cars on our market. For a price starting at 1.8 million crowns, it will offer all-wheel drive, a combined output of 478 kW (650 hp) or an electronic e-LSD differential. But Hyundai decided to make the car even more exciting. A sharper variant called NPX1 will be presented during the Tokyo Motor Show.
It is not yet clear if NPX1 is the new name for the eN1 Cup version or if it is a road version derived from it. We don’t see much from the published photos either, the car is hidden in darkness and only lightly lit, following the example of many other trailers. The massive bodykit including the large wing is already visible.
The racing version of the car is 250 kg lighter than the production version, which weighs around two tons. The car is glued to the asphalt, has 18-inch wheels on slicks, polycarbonate windows and a lot of other things so that it can participate in races.
