In addition to the interesting production figures, the car company also published other important information, for example, the employees received a nice raise.

Last year, the Kia factory in Teplička nad Váhom produced the most cars to date – specifically 350,224. The largest share was the Sportage model in its fifth generation, namely 60 percent. The rest goes to the Ceed in its various versions – the hatchback, the Sportswagon station wagon, the action-oriented ProCeed and the facelifted XCeed.

8,537 cars went to the Czech Republic, which represents 2.4 percent of production. Specifically, it was 6230 pieces of Ceed and 2397 pieces of the Sportage model. In terms of the most important export countries, the Slovak Kia plants are led by Great Britain with 16 percent, Germany with 11 percent and Spain with 10 percent.

Over 507,000 engines were also produced in Slovakia, which means year-on-year growth of more than ten percent. The majority (87 percent) were gasoline units, 44 percent of the total units produced went to Nošovice.

In the evaluation of last year 2023, the car company also recalled that employees received an additional 130 euros per month, and in 2024 they will receive an additional 110 euros. The average monthly salary of a production employee at Kia Slovakia (excluding management) last year was 2,408 euros, according to the exchange rate at the end of last year, 60,000 CZK.
