The Seat and Cupra car companies managed to deliver over half a million cars last year. The young, sporty Cupra brand claimed a historic delivery of 230,700 cars, which means a year-on-year increase of 50.9%. Parent Seat also improved, dealing with the reverberations of all crises and delivering 288,400 cars, twenty-four percent more year-on-year.

The combined sales of both brands are represented by SEAT SA, which delivered a total of 519,200 cars last year. The most significant market for the company is Germany (129,100 units), followed by Spain (79,200 units) and Great Britain (57,800 units). Over twenty thousand cars were also delivered to the unusual markets of Mexico and Turkey.

In addition to the aforementioned success, Cupra is celebrating another milestone. In 2023, it celebrated 528,000 vehicles delivered since its founding in 2018. Which models were the most popular this year? It is probably not surprising that the driver of sales is the attractive Formentor crossover with 120,1000 units. Less expected, however, is the second place, held by the Born electric model with forty-five thousand cars.

The Cupra model range is growing. The first electric SUV Tavascan has seen the light of day, and the production of the bold DarkRebel concept (pictured) has also been confirmed.

In the case of Seat, the Arona crossover is the best-selling model, followed by the Ibiza and the Ateca. The key countries are the same as the Cupra, just in a slightly different order. The brand delivered the most cars at home in Spain (59,700 units), followed by Germany (56,800 units) and Great Britain (32,100 units).

SEAT SA will not be bored this year either, as several key innovations are planned. The cult model Seat Ibiza will celebrate its 40th anniversary (including a special edition with rich equipment), we can look forward to the new Cupra Terramar as well as the modernization of the Formentor and Leon. The sportiest version of the Born VZ electric car will also make its debut.

Seat Ibiza celebrates 40 years this year. The annual limited edition will get 18″ light alloy wheels, specific paintwork and sports seats.

Although both brands are doing well, they want to lure other customers with a wave of attractive incentives. For example, Cupra now offers a discounted operating lease for the Formentor, which you can drive with installments starting at CZK 6,899 excluding VAT. This is even less than in the case of Leon and Leon ST, which can be purchased as part of the “operák” from 7,099 CZK and 7,299 CZK without VAT per month, respectively.

Seat is not left behind either, which today offers its selected models with a discount of up to CZK 142,800! The promotional offer applies to the Ibiza, Arona, Leon, Leon ST, Ateca and Tarraco models. “The offer of the Seat brand has always been characterized by a very favorable price/performance ratio, and our New Year’s event, which we started with the arrival of 2024, is unsurpassed in this parameter,” adds Aleš Novák, director of the Seat division of Porsche Czech Republic, about the successful campaign.
