The battle is on and the results of the best-selling cars in Europe have revealed their winners. For the first time in history, a purebred electric car won, from a young North American car company that produces it for Europe primarily in Berlin at the Gigafactory Brandenburg.

Second was the Dacia Sandero with the number of units sold exceeding 235 thousand, while the bronze was taken by the Volkswagen T-Roc with almost 207 thousand reported units.

The title of best-selling car of the year in Europe was won by an electric car for the first time.

In addition, the Tesla Model Y is reaping sales success wherever it is sold, for example in the USA it finished fifth for 2023. And all this is more than respectable, because it is a model introduced in 2019 and produced from 2020.

So, in three years from the start of production, the title of the best-selling car in Europe? This deserves credit, with the fact that if the facelifted Model Y Juniper is as successful as its sister Model 3 Highland, then the direct – especially German – competition will probably have a severe headache and bad sleep.
