So far, Fisker has been showing itself inconspicuously in Europe. So far, the Ocean SUV is produced here, but in the future, its offer will grow to include interesting pieces.

Tesla has dominated the European electric car market and now Fisker is also expanding its activities. He has already fully launched the sale of his SUV Ocean with local production in Austria’s Magna Steyr in Graz. The Alaska electric pickup will probably be added to it.

While the electric pick-up segment already has quite a few representatives in America, it is an empty segment in Europe. The Alaska is due to enter the market in 2025, along with the Pear hatchback and the Ronin coupe, which are still in the concept stage. On the other hand, Alaska is much closer to serial production.

In addition to the utility value natural for pick-ups, it will impress customers with its very pleasant driving characteristics. It will be more of a lifestyle thing than a construction worker. The automaker itself admits that it does not expect large-scale sales, which, on the other hand, will maintain its exclusivity status.

That is also why the question is whether Alaska will be produced in Europe. Given the same base with Ocean, this wouldn’t be a problem, but the question is whether it’s worth it to adjust the lines, or if he will simply bring the few pieces across the sea. At the moment, neither option is confirmed.

As Alaska shares the FT31 platform with Ocean, the same propulsion options are assumed. It offers 275 hp in the basic specification, but you can go up to 564 hp and 727 Nm of torque. In practice, this means a hundred in 3.9 seconds. Batteries with capacities of 75 and 113 kW will be available for a range of 370 to 550 km. The body is 137 cm long in its basic configuration, but thanks to the variable partition and folding rear seats, it can be extended up to 228 cm. The price on the American market is estimated at around 1,020,000 CZK. That’s good for a nice pick-up truck with a dose of luxury.

The interior is not tricked out. The dashboard has cloth design trim and there is said to be the world’s largest cup holder and hat holder. You can store gloves, flashlights, tablets, office supplies and other travel accessories in the storage areas. Most of it in the box under the armrest.
