The Royal M4 is even more predatory. At the same time, he does not forget the possibility of personalization and creation of the car according to the personal preferences of the owner.

Along with the classic versions of the convertible and coupe of the BMW 4 Series, the dynamic derivatives of the BMW M division also indulged in wellness. In them, the knowledge gained in motorsport is put into everyday use. The coupe is aimed at enthusiasts with a taste for the circuit, while the cabriolet tempts more towards summer trips with fast crossings.

From regular production, the M4 is distinguished by kidney stones with horizontal slats, wider mudguards and sill extensions and shiny black decorations on both bumpers. The coupe gets a lighter roof made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic, while solid panels sewn into the canvas roof bring more comfort while maintaining the classic design. If you choose the classic steel roof for the coupe, you get a sunroof.

The twin-turbocharged six-cylinder boasts a rigid, liner-less, closed engine block, a lightweight forged crankshaft and a 3D-printed cylinder head, as traditional technologies could not handle such a complex shape. Thanks to this, the cooling channels are more efficient and the weight of the part itself is lower. The combustion process is made more efficient by fuel injection operating at a pressure of 350 bar, variable intake valve timing and variable cam timing.

Along with the reprogramming of the control unit, the power jumped from 375 to 390 kW (530 hp) with a torque of 650 Nm. Thanks to this, the coupe can reach 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, the cabriolet is two tenths slower. The choice between a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic is pleasing. Part of the system is the M active differential, which, depending on the mode, distributes the power between the axles, or sends everything to the rear wheels only. Speaking of wheels, the M4 wears diameters of 18 inches in the front and 19 inches in the rear. The Competition version is even an inch larger.

The interior is enhanced by an optional alcantara-upholstered steering wheel, while the basic one can also be heated. In the interior, the M series stands out with a variation of aluminum trim, a synthetic leather-covered dashboard and sports seats with heating and position memory. In the convertible, you can treat yourself to a neck warmer. For an additional fee, heated carbon shells can also be installed inside, which are 9.6 kg lighter. These are part of the Carbon package, which also includes carbon-ceramic brakes and carbon interior trim.
